Today this project officially started. This magazine wants to research and inform about ways to integrate ecological theory and environmental thoughts into existing or future constitutions.

Humankind reached what we think is it’s first major goal with the Human Rights charta. Simultaneously, these ideas were integrated in many democratic constitutions around the world. What is needed now (besides enforcing these rights and constitutions) is the second big step: a Nature Rights charta and its integration into a new form of constitution.

This constitution, a framework containing both Human and Nature Rights, is what we call an Ecological Constitution. This magazine tries to look for hints in existing and fictional constitutional texts, and inform about progress made on this matter.
